What Inspires Us

This season, we are inspired by: stained glass in brownstone windows, sunlight filtered through leafy green trees, peach iced tea, the aroma, texture and hue of coconut soap, nude lipstick topped with pearly pink gloss, red velvet cupcakes from Cake Man Raven, the kaleidoscope colors of our many friends, church hats and Sunday brunch, the B38 Limited bus, vintage dashikies, Moroccan bazaars, Thai spices, Maestro Goldie's "Beachdrifta", beige highlights on curly hair, our mom Brenda, buttercream icing, freshly tanned skin sprinkled with wet sand, wooden beads, avocados and Brazilian drums.

Everyday we are creating, organizing, planning, scheming, hoping, waiting, struggling, failing, succeeding, laughing, "hanging in there" and "making it".
